My Last Retro Sketch

Hi and Happy Saturday Friends!

This will be my last Retro Sketch card as a DT member.  In fact, over the next couple of weeks, I will  announce a couple more teams I have stepped down from...I plan on finishing up March. Then, starting April with a fresh start of re-direction!
Time to do some spring cleaning in several areas of life.
I'm needing to focus more on my family, home, my digi shop and homeschooling.
That doesn't mean I won't be crafting or blogging...I'll just be doing
We were blessed with a wee little baby boy in September, he was born addicted to drugs and went through withdrawal for 30 days in the hospital. We picked him up on day 31.
He is precious and we all love him so much.
With his doc. appts. SS meetings, Court dates, visits with his bio mom, the
concern over his future, etc etc, etc...I feel I need to be all I can be to him and our other 5 blessings.
Not to mention, we have no idea what the judge will decide so I want to spend all the time cuddling and loving him that I can.
We go back to court on Monday, so any and all prayers would be greatly appreciated!
Also, he is the half-brother to the 2 little boys we have had full custody of for over 4 years.
Our oldest, McCoy (turned 6 in Feb._ is very attached to his lil' brother.
We are praying that no matter what happens, McCoy will be able to handle it!
Thank you my wonderful friends!

Thank you Arielle for inviting me to join you at Retro Sketches.
I wish you grand success and lots of FUN.  Love ya Girl!!

Now, for my RS card.  This week we are using one of my past sketches.
You can find it HERE.
For this card, I used one of Hannah's Bug & Roo digis - Olivia

I also used My Mind's Eye  - A Happy Heart paper.
I found it at Meijer's back in Jan. and got it as a Birthday Gift, but just now found a chance to use it.
I plan on changing things and having more time for fun, "when I want to" crafting!

I love Digi Scrappin!

It's time for another Colour Q Challenge.
I admit I was a bit scared of all the shades of green.
I love green, but using all of them together had me stumped for a moment.
I decided to use them as accent colors and the fact that Arielle's Wild Wasabi shade is in the photo helped alot! YaY!!  I love Gray being the main color.
I am really feeling GRAYS this year!!
Landon even picked a wonderful gray for his and the little boy's
new room color...I was very pleased!

We took the kids to the Zoo last spring and we had a blast!
I LOVE this photo of Hannah and McCoy!

I liked the page above so much...I just had to make a few more to go with it.
This was the end of a long, fun day and these 5 Sweet Little Monkeys were worn out!

Ella thinks she is Chinese and pretends we adopted her from some Apes that had raised her until she was a few months old. Well, I think it's pretend, but not 100% sure since the last time I tried to find out by saying "You know you aren't really from China and you weren't really cared for by Apes, right Ella?"  She was shocked and cried and cried, I quickly reassured her that, YES, YES, she was Chinese and we did adopt her from a family of apes.
When she saw these statues, she ran to them calling out to "her long lost family"...professing her love for them and then directed me to take lots of photos of her, her Mom, Dad and Baby brother!
Good Grief...she is a character!!!

We'd love for you to join us at
