Meet Ella and Ella...

I'd like to introduce you to MY Ella, Lollipop Ella and Mo's Ella!!!!

Meet Ella...
I made this paper bag album for my little sweetie Ella!!
The stamp is also named Ella...AND will be released TOMORROW at Stamping Bella!!!
Woo Hoo!! (Holy Moly I can't believe it's tomorrow) I am gonna be freaking out tonight as it sets in a little more!! I am still in shock and disbelief at the moment!!! Thank you ALL for all your wonderful support and love!!

and

Ella in Trouble
...
Mo created an adorable little scene entitled Sam in Trouble (the cutest little boy caught coloring on the wall, whom I will color soon) and offered it to her Dream Girls last night...someone mentioned a little girl in trouble and I said, my kiddos never colored on the wall but that Ella was notorious for getting into my makeup!!!! Here is proof of one of those occasions...

Mo just happened to be doing a girl and makeup was her theme, sooooo she named her Ella!!! She even managed to capture Ella's "Oh Great...I've been caught, so no more fun" scowl on her face!! How sweet!! Thanks Mo!!!

A Sneak Peek at my Rubber Stamps

Lollipops
by Lori Boyd

Today marks 1 week until the release of my new rubber stamps through Emily at Stamping Bella!! The images in this collection are called Lollipops...You all have never seen these images, as they were just something I would draw for the kids to color.

On October 30th..they will ALL be revealed and released!! Yipppeee!!!

I am very excited, but not sure the WHOLE thing has sunk in yet...I am still in a bit of shock!!

Well, to celebrate 1 week to go, I have made this card with one of my images. It's a bit larger than the actual stamp because I used my actually digital drawing I sent to Em. She released them in Canada at 2 big shows and hasn't had time to send the actual stamps to me yet!!! YES... it is killing me to wait!! I wanted you all to get a look at a few of the designs so here is a peek for today... I hope you all love her!! Her name is Hannah!! I love the that Emily is allowing these images to stay true to me and the fact that they are hand drawn. No extra computerized manipulations, just pure hand drawn images!! Not perfect...Just like me!!!!

I'll be back on Wednesday for another little peek-a-roo!!!

Blessings,

This week the DT used the new Cosmo Cricket "Earth Love" line available at the DCRU Store.
The paper, chipboard, and tags are just adorable.
And here's a surprise, the entire Earth Love Collection is on sale this week through Saturday for 35% off regular price!!

October Blog Hop - Mo's Digital Pencil

Good Thursday Morning Everyone!!
I am so happy to introduce to you the very first Blog Hop featuring Mo's Digital Pencil brought to you by Mo's Dream Team!!

We are all very excited to have been asked by Mo herself to be on her team. I am extra excited to have the honor and privilege to host October's Blog Hop, a wonderful way for the Dream Team to showcase and spotlight some of Mo's Designs. The Dream Team will host this monthly hop each and every third Thursday of the month, so I invite you back month after month to join us in celebrating Mo's Mahhh-Vahh-Lasssss talent.
The theme I chose for this month is "My Favorite Mo Stamp and Favorite Color Combo"
Ok, so I know what you are thinking...They are alllll my favorite. I agree and with that being said and since I couldn't possibly pick a single favorite...I picked my very first favorite.

Kimono Girl

Kimono Girl was the very first Mo Image I owned and the very first one I colored. When I saw her I knew I had to have her!! She helped hook me onto Mo's Images, so for that reason alone she should be my favorite, but there are many more reasons to love this little Asian cutie!! I hope you agree and that you hop over to Mo's Digital Pencil Store where you will find a ton of very affordable, very adorable Cuties of your own!!!

Thanks for joining me this morning!! Now it is time to hop over to Cheryl's Blog for another Mo Delight!!

If you lose track along your way, here is a list to keep you headed in the right direction:

Lori
Cheryl
Jak
Elaine
Suzanne
Mina
Kerttu
Michelle
Rach

One more thing...Mo's Challenge Team has a new challenge today!!

Happy Hoppin!!!

DCRU - Make your own embellishment

Today's Die Cuts R Us Challenge is to...

Create your own
Embellishment

Claudia, sent each of the DCRU Design Team members 4- 3x3 squares of the
The County Fair Collection DP from American Crafts and challenged us to create our own embellishments!
It sure was fun!! I created a flower, a pinwheel and the oval sentiment embellishment.

To make the flower, I simply hand cut a rounded square shape, the distressed and crumpled it, then manipulated it into a flower like shape, added a back for extra dimension and sewed a button on. I used SU! ribbon and a strip of the yellow American Crafts paper as an accent to the ribbon.

The pinwheel is several triangles arranged to look pin-wheelish!!! LOL!! I cut the button looking designs out of one of the pieces of patterned paper and glued them to the triangles. That adorable pink paper that I used for the Pin wheel handle and the Scalloped oval is also American Crafts paper. I love pink and this pink is the positively perfect shade!!!

These 12x12 papers are available now in the Die Cuts R Us store on sale at 40% off!!!
DCRU has a large assortment of Cuttlebug Embossing Folders available for the super price of $3.99.

Vicki Garrett is our Crazy 4 Challenges hostess for the month of October. The Challenge for this week is to create a card with a Thankful theme. It could be a Thanksgiving Card or a Thank You card. I used one of Mo's Images. I couldn't resist Bronte getting a tiny taste of Louis' (Bella's 'almost-free' year old cousin) scrumptious looking chocolate Chip cookie. I know that Bronte is very thankful for "almost-free year olds with cookies). I loved this retired SU! paper so much I had to use it again!! DCRU - Coloring Challenge

Die Cuts R Us
______________________________

This is my first post as one of Claudia's DCRU Design Team members. I am excited to be apart of such a sweet team!!! Really all the girls are so nice and a pleasure to work with!!!
Thanks Claudia!!

This week the challenge is all about one of my favorite things...COLORING!!
There is a prize being awarded at DCRU along with this challenge and all you have to do is catch the "color bug". Get out all your favorite coloring supplies and create a card, project or layout with coloring as the main focus.

Claudia has a new digi stamp coming out soon and she allowed her DT the honor of coloring it up for this challenge!!

I decided to make an organizational book to keep all my Die Cuts R Us responsibilities in order.

I started with a pre made 4 panel notebook from the clearance isle at Target.
I colored the image with Copics, SU! Markers, a blender pen and an ink pad.

Mo's Challenge 1 - Purple

Hi Everyone!!! I am over joyed about bringing you the first ever Mo Challenge!!

It's all about "Perple"!!!

Of course, you all know that "Perple" is Bella and Bronte's favorite color. So, our challenge is to make a card using the color purple but you must use a Mo Manning image on your creation. Use as much or as little purple as you like, it just has to have purple!

And as an added bonus, Mo is going to pick a winner and that person will not only win a new, never been seen image but get the honor of naming the image as well. So get those purple colors out and get inky.
Be sure to check out all the great inspiration from our design team HERE.

I used Mo's Baby Girl First Birthday Image!!
