MDP and DS2 and....

Today is a special day for 3 reasons...I am finally able to hop along with all the talented
Dream Team Girls at Mo's Digital Pencil again (YAY), It's time for another sketch at
Deconstructed Sketch (Woo Hoo)
AND
It's my Daddy's 57th Birthday (I love him so much)!!
My Daddy is my HERO!
I thank God for him and pray that my boys grow up to have characteristics just like him.
I can't imagine a better man than one that was a combination of my Daddy and my wonderful husband, Eric. I am so thankful to have these 2 men as influences in their lives!
My Dad, David D. Tompkins I is honestly one of a kind.
He has ALWAYS put his family first. I heard a story of him selling his class ring when I was
a baby to buy a gallon of milk for me. He and my Mommy were really just babies themselves
when they married, but after 39 years of marriage, they are still love one another and
continue to put us 4 kids and our families first and above all else.
He joined the Army when I was about 3.
Which enable me to be the person I am today. We were blessed with wonderful experiences
in and out of the country. Learning tolerance and love for other cultures and lands.
He retired after 20 some years of service...and continues to teach us to respect and love for our God, our Country and our family!
No one is perfect, but my Daddy surely comes close in my eyes!!
Thank You God for blessing me with my Daddy!

Happy Birthday Daddy!
This was in April of '77. I was 3, he was 23 and had just joined the Army.
These are a mixture of Him & me & Mommy!
