Crazy 4 Challenges - C4C13 & Some News

Hi Everyone!!!
I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving, a fun Black Friday or just a good ole' day!!
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with Eric's Family!! We will be with my family on Monday!! We started a new tradition last year and it's called Pajama Thanksgiving...we all wear our new PJs and enjoy lots of Family Fun and Togetherness!!
I actually, didn't venture out into the Black Friday...NO shopping for me!! We always have small Christmases (as far as gifts are concerned), but this year it's gonna be REALLY small!!

Well, it's Saturday, and Saturdays seem to bring out all those CRAZY Card Makers!! A good place to see a few are at Crazy 4 Challenges!!! I am a bit late this morning as despite yesterday's Black FRIDAY title...I thought it was Thursday!!!! Duhhhhh!!

Our November hostess, Frances Byrne has challenged us all to go Punch HAPPY!!
Woo Hoo!!! Who doesn't like punches?!?!?
I told the Crazy Girls that my "less is more" motto seems to still be on Thanksgiving vacation, since my card looks as if a few Pink and Aqua punches threw up on my card and I tried to camouflage it with an ugly bow, so sorry for the mess I am calling....

My C4C card:
This ADORABLE stamp is from
Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps
and the artist is Crissy Armstrong!!
Her name is Bernadette and can be found HERE!!
And the Pretty scrap paper is Cosmo Cricket and can be found HERE at Die Cuts R Us!!

FUN NEWS...
I'll be back tomorrow as I am excited and honored to be able to join Kimmie and her Krafty Girls in her Kraftin' Kimmie's December Release BLOG HOP!!!
Believe me...You ARE NOT gonna want to miss this event...However, I must warn you to be Cautious as you may experience some strong CUTENESS overload!!! Hee hee!! I am just sayin'!!

Now, Hop over to the C4C BLOG for some Punch Happy fun!!

A little more news...
Due to my busy Schedule I have decided to step down from my duties at Fred, She Said.
Tracey and the other girls are awesome and I wish them all the best!!
Big Hugs and Thanks for all the fun!!
Be sure to visit FSS at Tracey's new PCP Group!!

And Finally...
You may remember this summer I tried out for the Hanna Stamps GD Challenge and ended up winning a spot, WELLLLL I am sad to say I have had to pass/step down from that as well!!
I am just TOO busy to give them my all, so it's better this way!! I am so thankful for the win...completely honored to have been picked, but this feels right!!
Love to all the Hanna Girls!!

Hope you all enjoy this beautiful Saturday made by God!!!

DCRU- Thankful For...

Oh, Happy Day!!!!

I hope you all had an enjoyable Thanksgiving!! I challenge you all to make everyday Thanksgiving, to be thankful and give thanks for all your blessings and even for the trials, for in those times I know... I can Cast ALL my cares on Him (1 Peter 5:7) and He will carry me!!

As you have seen throughout the week in the posts of the other
Design Team members, DCRU is taking this week to let you get to know each of us a little better, by listing what we are thankful for...

I am MOST thankful for is the Gift of Salvation. I am thankful for God sending is only son, Jesus, to die on the cross for me and you!!!
I am thankful that the price was paid and all I had to do to accept it is believe that
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that His blood was shed for me
and that
He died on the cross so that we may have eternal life
!!!!
Thank You Father God!!

I am also thankful for:

Forgiveness - No one is perfect and so there have been and will be times I need forgiveness. Remember that in order to be forgiven...you yourself must forgive.

God's Protection - Jesus' invisible force field, as Landon says
Psalm 32:7 "You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance"

Strength - that can only come from Him, my Lord and Savior
Philippians 4:13
"I can do everything through him who gives me strength"

Peace

Second Chances

Freedom - to love, to worship, .....

The air we breathe

My eye sight - to see my sweet babies

My arms - to hug

Love - to give and receive

My Family

Our Good Health

My Husband - I truly believe God made him just for me and he loves me just the way I am

My 5 Little Bugs - they call me "Mommy", the greatest job in the world

My Church

My Friends - that includes all you bloggy Girls too!!

I know without a doubt that God is awesome, amazing and mighty, the King of my Life and I am His Princess!!

Mini Accordion Album
A little album I embellished with those 5 Little Bugs ... my blessings, my reasons!!!

Quickutz Accordian Mini Book (White), Paper: American Crafts "Blue Skies" Collection,
Basic Grey Brads,

I'd also like to remind you of the AWESOME
Black Friday Deals

Die Cuts R Us STORE!!!

DCRU Product Spotlight - Embossing Folders

It's time for another
Die Cuts R Us Product Spotlight

This week the product is one of my favorite things... Cuttlebug Embossing Folders!!!
The Die Cuts R Us shop carries many embossing folders, but the 3 that I am focusing on today are:

NEW Emboss a2 Stars
NEW Emboss a2 Stars
$4.99 $3.99

NEW Emboss a2 Fleur de Lis
NEW Emboss a2 Fleur de Lis
$4.99 $3.99

NEW Emboss a2 Victoria
NEW Emboss a2 Victoria
$4.99 $3.99

I could go on and on about the quality of these folders, that fact that I have used mine over and over and over again and they are still as good as new. I could also mention that with the addition of an embossed panel of card stock, you can change an ok card into a WOW card!!
I could throw in the fact that embossing folders are easy to store, easy to use and easy to purchase here at the DCUR store...but I won't bore you with details I'll just show you some cards I designed using the 3 Cuttlebug Embossing Folders listed above:

I paired, Flapper Anya with the Victoria folder and colored her with
Ciao Copic Markers
for this perfectly pink combination.

The Stars folder was a perfect fit for this handsome fella, who can also be found in the DCRU Shop HERE and colored him with Ciao Copic Markers. I embellished with 2 strips of Orange Paper called Tea Cakes from the Nook and Pantry Collection . I cut the word BUDDY from a piece of paper from the Blue Skies Collection by American Crafts .

Using the Fleur de Lis Folder, helped to create an elegant, yet masculine theme for this handsome little man, Edward and I topped it off with 3 fabulous brown brads by Basic Grey.

Hope you have enjoyed the DCRU Product Spotlight featuring Cuttlebug Embossing Folders.
You can find everything you need to make all 3 of these cards at the:

November - Dream Team Hop

The Dream Team hops again!!!
I love Mo's Images and what better way to showcase some of her stunningly
adorable drawings then to have a blog hop.
I am so happy to be on her Dream Team and look forward to these
Monthly Dream Team Blog Hops!!!

Thank you ALL for the wonderful comments last month, I was
honored to be the first hostess and blown away by all you comments!!

Our November Hostess, is Mel and the blog hop theme she chose is:

"Precipitation Inspiration"
We all had to use an image of Mo's that involved water (water, snow, rain, sleet, etc.)

I chose Mo's Super cute
$3.00
Matilda

One of the awesome things about Mo Digis is the fact that they are not only great
for cards, but PERFECT for Scrapbooking as well!!
You have to admit not all digis can be used for cards and scrap pages!!!

If you have a little girl...well, she HAS to take baths, soooooo why not pick this sweetie pie up from Mo and make your own bath time scrapbook page!!! You aren't gonna find a better image for your Splish Splash layout!!

I dressed Matilda up with Copics and Glass Enamel (for the puddle).

Here is the order of the hop:
Now you have reached the end of Mo's Dream Team Blog Hop
and this is a perfect time to visit

Mo's Digital Pencil Shop
for your own
Little Matilda and her friends!!

Speaking of her friends...Here is one who likes playing in the rain

Thanks for hopping by!!!

P.S. If you need a bit moreMo fun (and who doesn't) hop over to the Challenge Design Team's weekly challenge blog. A Brand New Challenge starts today!!
