TPE - Bleach Technique

My New Header

As you can all see, I have a new blog header. It was custom designed by Robin Willis. I love how she displayed some of my work and I am crazy about the way she made my header look like a CARD, how cute!!! She noticed that I love buttons, that my favorite color is pink and was able to incorporate that into my header.

I LOVE it!!

She is very affordable and super nice to work with. Robin also designed the Header, Banners,
DT Photo Banner and Watermarks for The Pink Elephant.


She even made TPE Blog Hop Banner

I love her work!!

Hey Everyone!!
I forgot to post this last month, so I thought I'd go ahead and post it now!!

TPE- Challenge #12

This week at The Pink Elephant, we have a Sketch Challenge for you.
We are using an adorable sketch created by Senior Design Team Member Carol Houghton. I really really like this sketch, it probably has everything to do with the fact that it has scallops on it. I LOVE Scallops!!

I loved it so much, that I had to do 2 projects!!!

A sweet little long card using the

I am thinking I may end up putting the front of the card on a 6X6 scrap page!

Caardvarks Challenge. Trees a Crowd!! I loved it!!

I think...I really really like challenges!!!

Project Tuesday - Project #1

Hi Everyone!! I am excited to announce that I have been asked to design for Jennifer Meyer's new adventure...Project Tuesday!!! I feel it is quite unique, as everything you see on Project Tuesday will be projects. Nothing overly difficult, just some projects with a little more oomph!! then we put into card design. For the first project, Jennifer chose a Double Pocket Bag. I have to admit I was a bit nervous at first, but it was so easy and fun. I will certainly make more of these cute little bags. They are perfect for Birthday Gift Bags or any kind of Gift Bag!! How neat to be able to coordinate the colors and theme with the occasion.
As you can see it is perfect for gifting one or 2 of the Stamps and Smiles new releases due to be released soon!!

This week we are doing something a little different...It's a take your pick type of challenge. the themes to choose from are "For Mom" (a Happy Mother's Day or Happy Birthday Mom Project) and "Don't Throw That Away" (in honor of Earth Day, Recycle Project). I painted on a dinner plate, does that count as recycling or reusing?? If not, I plan on adding my recycle/reuse project later today.

OCC Challenge - Reuse It!!

Hey Everyone!! This week on the OCC we are to Reuse!!
My card might be kinda funny, but I had fun putting it together!!
You'd be surprised at what there is that can be Reused!!!

What did I reuse you ask....
1. The white stripes are strips of old snail adhesive tape paper
2. I torn the gingham strip of ribbon off of something awhile back
3. The puffy feathery reddish thing is a pom pom thingy that feel loose from one of Ella's house shoes (shhh! I stuck it on with chewing gum) Nah! I thought about it but I didn't
4. The big pink circle is a cute price tag from one of my undergarments
5. The pink card base was a base of another card, I just torn it apart and reused it!!

TPE- Challenge #9

Hello all you Pink Ladies out there!! This week at The Pink Elephant the challenge is a Recipe Challenge. You have use Stamps, Punches and Embossing!! Fun, Fun, Fun!!!

Well, I will be honest...I finished my project, photographed it, watermarked it and started to load it to TPE post and realized I had not used a single stamp. I couldn't believe it!!! First, I was gonna just leave it and explain to everyone here, then I thought how in the world can an owner of a blog mess up the challenge and not fix it. As you can see I took my 6X6 off of TPE and made a new project...A card. And of course, I remembered the stamps this time!!
