FSS - A card for my Mom


Well, It's been a full day of playing catch up. Tracey at Fred, She Said has been so understanding through out my July absence. With my Mom on the mend...I can't Thank you all enough for the prayers, comments and e-mails of love and concern. What I didn't inform you all of, was the fact that after all the GOOD NEWS of no blockage found after the Heart Cath...Well, that evening due to the heart cath procedure a blood clot when to my Mom's brain causing her to have a Mild Stroke. She will be OK, Praise The LORD. She has vision, balance and comprehension issues, but the doctors and therapists have said we should see a change for the better within 6 months.
So, with things starting to fall into place after a few weeks of chaos and my Mom's total blessing...I am excited to return to my crafting and blogging!!

When I saw this Fred, She Said image, I knew I had to color it up and create something special for my sweet Mommy!! BTW, you can get it FREE HERE!!!!

So here it is....

glad to hear your mom is doing well! i'll continue to keep her and your family in my prayers. super love your use of black in the first card! hehe, I'm usually afraid to use black as a primary color on my cards, but you make it look elegant! And your coloring is fantastic, I'm sure your mom will love it :) And i so love the flower on the second one!!!

Thanks for the update on your mom, LORi! Continued prayers are being sent for a speedy recovery for her. We have 2 parents with critical heart and lung concerns so we know how hard it can be. But God is good and his grace abounds!

Those are 2 stunning projects!

Lori, I just love these designs. Your gingham red bow is so perfect. I struggle to get my bows neat and symmetrical so can I ask how you acheived it?? Maybe it's just a skill I lack.
