It reminds me of my Hannah and Landon.

Han is the best big sister ever and Landon is the sweetest little 

brother...they love one another so much and I pray that never changes!!

Deconstructed Sketch Blog Hop - DS7

 
It's a Deconstructed Sketch Vacation Blog Hop! Jen is on vacation this week so she thought it would be fun to mix things up a bit this week and have a blog hop. And you know what a blog hop means... that's right PRIZES!! For this blog hop there will be TWO prizes, one for one very lucky commenter and one for one very lucky randomly drawn participant in the sketch challenge.

So what do you need to do? Well, hop around to all the design team blogs and leave a comment. The list is below so you can hop in your own order. Very easy! Second, take a look at the sketch and make a project using the sketch as creative inspiration, post it online (blog or gallery) and link it back to the InLinkz on Jen's blog. Again, very easy!! Now, I know these are aren't brand new PJ images.

But they are back here at home at BLD and you might not have noticed but I tweaked a few things that sort of bugged me...can you guess what is a bit different?

It's very subtle but I fixed theirs noses, their smiles and Ella's hair (it always bothered me that her hair didn't really lay right off her shoulder...YAY it's fixed)

Jen has done it again...designed a fabulous sketch!!

It was challenging for me at first, since I am a plain jane, clean and simple, no frills...possibly boring card maker!!  9 times out of 10 you will probably find a simple rectangle or square with a colored image adhered to a simple card shaped piece of card stock with maybe a dab of 

patterned paper here or there from me, but not today!!  

Jen's wonderful sketch took me out of my comfort zone and made me think a little!!

Thanks Jen for helping me to live on the wild side...LOL!!

Teacher Thank You Hop - Final Day

Welcome to our final day of the Teacher Thank You Blog Hop!!

Well, as some of you may know, we home school, so making a Teacher Gift (unless it was for myself...lol)
was not on my to do list. However, when my good friend, Kimmarie asked me to join

I am sharing a teacher plate I painted.

It was an order from a customer who was giving it to her daughter's teacher on the last day of school last week!

She sent me the name of the school, the teacher, her assistant and the names of all the kids in the class, along with everyone's hairstyle!!

I painted and personalized the plate creating a Teacher Gift!!
