Today at A Day For Daisies, there are new images and they all have Hats! 

Elegant and pretty hats!  Tammy has out done herself again!

Sometimes simply changing your photo from Color to B&W can make such a difference.

I originally designed this layout in color (as you see below), but I ended up changing it to black & white and loved it that way!

The Deconstructed Sketch

I just love using Jen's wonderful sketches in scrap pages. 

Even the ones that you'd think are card only sketches, make for a fun challenge.

When you look at the sketch:

You can see that the actually part of my page that follows the sketch is the 

panel inside the 12 x 12 square.  I personally think this sketch makes for a GREAT Layout Sketch!

I loved it so much I did 2 versions...this one is a bit more embellished, not so clean & simple.

I used Mye De Leon's digital kit from Design House Digital called Let It Be Me.

The Pink Elephant Challenge - TPE158 Summer Fun

It's Monday...Yipppeeee! Eric is off today, which means I will be smiling a lot!  Last night, my taste buds were inspired by a friend's photo (of her Frappe from Mickey D's) on Facebook...Eric ran out and got me one, boy have I paid for that decision.  NEVER, Ever, Never again will I consume a drink such as this when I need to be up early the next morning! Ughhhhh, I couldn't sleep until the wee hours of the morn and now I feel plum awful!

Gonna hop in the shower and jump start our day!

Oh, yeah...I guess you wanna see the page I digitally designed for today's TPE challenge. Hee hee!

The theme this week is SUMMER. Summer Fun...anything summer!

I used this photo I took of the kids on a really hot day this summer. Bless their hearts, it wasn't just hot, it was suffocating hot. We were all melting! Miserable, but I still got a decent shot or two.

Say Cheese (which I just found out has been discontinued at MM...boo) for the background paper.

The big beautiful yellow flower. the lil' yellow button, the white one and the metal button are all by Mye De Leon and are in her Spring It On kit.  That sweet little polka dotted tape is from Gennifer Bursett's Sweet Child of Mine kit.  The summer fun title is by Celeste Knight's Summer Girl.
