Wow!! Robin's Sketch is SUPER fun this week at The Pink Elephant!!
Like I have said before I have never been a big sketch fan, but between Carol's, Robin's and my friend Mercy's...I am startin' to like doing sketches!!!
I actually loved working with this week's sketch!!! I hope you will too!!

OCC - Focus On The Sentiment

Good Saturday Morning to all you OCC fans!!! This week we were challenged to make the Sentiment the Focal Point of the card. I actually didn't have a thought one way or the other when I first saw this challenge, but after making the card...I have to say that this is now one of my favorite challenges!!!

I will no longer be on the OCC DT!!!

Hi everyone!! Good Monday morning to you all!!! I am excited to announce this week's challenge at The Pink Elephant. It's a Theme Challenge and the them is Monograms or Letters!!! Woo Hoo!! I have been waiting for this challenge...it's one of my favs!!! I came up with it in honor of Bekki B. She made a really cute Monogram card and I cased it!!!

OCC - Robin's Color Challenge

Hi Everyone!! This week at Our Creative Corner... Robin Willis has challenged us to create with Regal Rose, Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue and a Neutral of our choice!!
This is one of my favorite color combos!!

Oh My Goodness!! I am excited I have found this fun challenge blog called

Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge
To be honest, I found it several months back and have been stalking it waiting for the right moment to enter....Well, the moment has arrived and I decided with just an hour to spare that I was gonna join in the fun!!

The movie Steel Magnolias (one of my most favorites) is this week's cinema!!! I could go on and on about some memories I have about this movie, but I won't. I would tell you what one character is my fav, but I can't...I love them all!!!
If you haven't seen this movie...YOU MUST!!! Try to watch it this weekend and then hop back here and let me know what you think of it AND if you have seen it then let me know what you thought of it)!!!

I am said to have missed my two mostest mostest bestest favorite movies...Grease and the Sound of Music!!! I am also crazy about Mary Poppins and Breakfast at Tiffany's, but yet you guessed it....Missed them too!!

Dear Lord, I thank You for this day,

I thank You for my being able to see
and to hear this morning.

I'm blessed because You are
a forgiving God and
an understanding God.

You have done so much for me
and You keep on blessing me.

Forgive me this day for everything
I have done, said or thought
that was not pleasing to you.

I ask now for Your forgiveness.
Please keep me and my family safe
from all danger and harm.

Help me to start this day
with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude..

Let me make the best of each and every day
to clear my mind so that I can hear from You.

Please broaden my mind
that I can accept all things.

Let me not whine and whimper
over things I have no control over.
And give me the best response
when I'm pushed beyond my limits.

I know that when I can't pray,
You listen to my heart.

Continue to use me to do Your will.

Continue to bless me that I may be
a blessing to others.

Keep me strong that I may help the weak...

Project Tuesday - Paper Clips

Hi Everyone!! Project Tuesday time!!! Jennifer is this week's hostess and she has chosen to do Paper Clips!!! I did a little tutorial on these for The Pink Elephant at the end of March and they were so much fun!!!

Woo Hoo!! It's Saturday!! It's OCC Day!! It's late (too late) or maybe I should say...Early!!!
I am up posting my card for this week's Our Creative Corner!! I have to admit, I have a SAS blog hop HANGOVER!!! I was up way too late and now up way too early!!! I should have had my submission for this week's challenge done days ago, but those who know me, KNOW that that ain't how I roll!!! My name is Lori and I AM A PROCRASTINATOR!!!! Yep, there ya go, I admit it!!! I understand that my work may suffer because of it and yes I did throw this card together, but hopefully you will all like it regardless of my faults!!!!

I know I could have just kept on sleeping, made and posted my card later today, but my friend Robin is our May Hostess and I insist on supporting her and her SKETCH Challenge, so here is the Sketch Robin designed and below that is my card!!
