TPE and CQC - Scrap Pages

Well, I ran behind yesterday and didn't post my TPE creation, so 

I am adding it here today with my Colour Q creation.

I designed scrap pages for both of them.

The Pink Elephant's challenge is to design something using your favorite color(s).

Normally, my favorite color is ALWAYS Pink, but right now, I am really loving off shades of green.

I really like a green & yellow color scheme, soooooo........

TA DA...I did a scrap page featuring my youngest daughter, Ella.

I used the My Memories Suite Software and a mixture of several kits from MM to create my page.

I know I have mentioned it before, but I wanna say it again

I LOVE My Memories!!

It really makes digital scrapping so easy and fun!

Now, for my 

Colour Q Challenges project!!

I designed another scrap page using Arielle's Color Scheme as my inspiration.

This color combo REALLY kicked my booty.

It is certainly NOT my fav colors and to have to use them altogether, well, you 

be the judge...AND don't laugh!! LOL!!

I tried, but it was definitely a challenge!! I just had to add a pinch of green! Yikes!!

TPE and CQC - Scrap Pages

I designed a digital scrap page of one of my sweethearts, my daughter, Ella.

I did a scrap page of myself.  Now, I do not normally hop into photos, I prefer to stay behind the camera.

However, I recently read an letter from a lady who put off getting her family's portrait done and soon after found out she had Cancer and well, you can imagine the sad ending. 

My friend, Janet Bagnall and I chatted about this article and both agreed that we need to get IN photos, not just take them. We agreed that one day we will be gone (maybe sooner than we want) and that our family needs to have photographs of us.

Sooooo, for this reason...the next evening I took this photo of myself.

 I scrapped it for my kiddos.

Eric giving Hannah a hug goodbye this morning as he left for work. Today is his 38th

 Birthday. The name of the font I used is Birth of a Hero...VERY fitting! My Hero!!

DAY 3

I found this sweet lil' thing sitting right beside & facing the same direction as the baby's 

bouncer. Ella made it out of 2 pairs of Baby Nealan's socks and his baby brush from the

hospital...perfect bed for the little bunny my Mom (Mamaw) gave her yesterday! 

I LOVE her Imagination!!

Day One - Twenty-Twelve in Photos

Hi Everyone!

Happy New Year and Welcome to 2012!!

I am very excited not only because this is the first day of a brand new and fabulous year, but it's also the very first day of a project I have just started...Twenty-Twelve in Photos.

Each day I will take a photo and upload it here to my Blog and Facebook, then link it to a new blog I created just for everyone who wants to share their daily photos!

I wanted to get a shot of all of us for my first photo, however...Eric is at work, Hannah is having lunch with my Mom and Aunt, Nealan is napping, and the other kids are watching the old Twilight Zone shows...I figured I better just draw us, it's much faster & easier than getting us all together! Hee hee!!
